Atlantic American Opportunities Fund invests in businesses in a wide range of industries as well as select real
estate development projects within Florida.

Depending on current cash flows of the business and post-transaction capital structure, Atlantic American will consider the following investment structures:

Investment Size
Atlantic American typically makes senior secured or subordinate (mezzanine) debt investments in the range of $1 million to $5 million, with warrants to purchase common stock of the company at a future date. Larger commitments may be possible through syndication to other investors. Our debt investments typically have a five year term and a fixed interest rate. Atlantic American may also make equity investments in the form of common or preferred stock.

Investment Criteria
Atlantic American will consider various potential investments, but ideal investments will posses the following characteristics:
- Florida-Based Businesses or Construction / Development Projects
- Opportunities that Create Sustainable Jobs
- Proven Management Teams
- Strong Preference for Existing, Revenue-Producing Businesses with a Minimum Cash Flow of $1,000,000
- Early Stage Opportunities Considered only with Proven Developers / Operators and Proven Business Model

Geographic Requirements
As part of our underlying structure, our fund only makes investments in Florida-based businesses and real estate projects that are located in Targeted Employment Areas (TEAs) within the state. TEAs are defined as rural areas or areas that have experienced high unemployment (150.0% of the average national unemployment rate during comparable time period).
