Douglas Anacreonte joined Atlantic American Partners in April 2005 as Vice President to help establish the Institutional Placement Group, a division created to raise capital for company sponsored and third party sponsored investment offerings including private equity funds and individual project financing opportunities. Since joining Atlantic American, Mr. Anacreonte has been involved in the structuring and placement of fund offerings in various asset classes including: Commercial Real Estate, Buyout, Mezzanine, Distressed Debt and Small Business Investment Companies (SBIC). In addition, Mr. Anacreonte has experience marketing private placement transactions in commercial real estate (Medical Office, Multifamily, Industrial, Hospitality and Retail) and Alternative Energy (Wind, Solar and Biofuels).
Prior to joining Atlantic American, Mr. Anacreonte gained experience as Assistant Vice President at Meridian Investments, Inc., an Institutional Placement Agent and FINRA registered Broker/Dealer focused primarily on marketing tax advantaged investment programs and Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) qualified investment programs including: Affordable Housing, Renewable Energy, Synfuel and New Market Tax Credits.
Mr. Anacreonte earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Carolina, Wilmington. He is a member of FINRA/SIPC and is currently Series 7 and 63 licensed.
